A New Take On The Classic White Shirt

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

A white shirt is one of the most versatile pieces to have in your wardrobe and a must-have for me, but I always struggle to find the right one. I love a crisp white button-down, but the classic fitted work shirt is just not for me. So, when I saw this white off-the-shoulder poplin top in Zara, I instantly fell in love with it. It has that crisp and clean look of a classic shirt but in a more casual and easy off-the-shoulder cut. I love the lapel, the wide cuffs on the sleeves and the knot detail on the front. It’s fun and trendy, and it’s like the classic white button-down has been tweaked to give it a more modern look.

I like to wear it with a pair of distressed cropped jeans, a small neutral coloured bag and my favourite flatform wedge sandals (also worn here) for a casual daytime look.

I hope you are all having a great weekend and let me know what’s your favourite white shirt!
