My Summer Wardrobe Wishlist

I’ve done a bit of shopping lately in prep for summer and I feel like my wardrobe is pretty much ready for the season ahead, but there are still a few items that I haven’t been able to get my hands on and if there’s anything else I buy this summer, it would be one of these. It’s a very short wishlist, but I’m aware that these items are quite expensive and, as I always say, quality over quantity!

A Red Dress

It’s no secret that I love anything red and I’ve been looking for a red printed mini dress with long sleeves (quite specific, I know!) that I can wear both day and night. There are so many options out there, but I haven’t found the perfect one yet. I almost bought the Realisation Par Alexandra dress the other day, but unfortunately shipping to the UK is currently unavailable. Good news is they will soon be available at Selfridges from July 2, so I’m heading there on the same day to try this dress on! I’ve also seen some red printed wrap dresses from Rixo London and Paloma Blue that caught my eye.

A Mini Bag

By ‘mini’ I mean essentially a wallet on a chain which I will use mainly as an evening bag. I adore my Gucci Soho Disco bag, but it’s more of a casual bag and I need something more appropriate for formal occasions. The Saint Laurent Monogram shoulder bag is a classic and probably my favourite mini bag, but I also really like the Gucci GG Marmont and the Miu Miu Matelasse chain bag. All three are very similar, so it’s a tough decision!

Black Stiletto Sandals

A classic black stiletto sandal is a must for the summer season and I don’t have anything similar in my wardrobe at the moment. I’ve had my eye on the Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong sandals for some time now, but I’ve recently found a more affordable alternative by Sam Edelman and that would do the job perfectly for me. I also love the Jimmy Choo Misty sandals in all colours! Maybe one day!

The number one item on my wishlist for this year was the Givenchy Antigona bag which is now officially part of my handbag “collection” and I couldn’t be happier with it! It’s the perfect everyday bag and looks so classy and chic. Let me know if you want a review!
