Today is officially the first day of autumn and I decided to take you through the new items in my wardrobe I’ve bought for this season. I love autumn fashion and I’m so happy I finally picked up some things I’d been eyeing up for some time. I made a list a few weeks ago of the items I wanted to buy for this autumn and I actually managed to stick to it, which is amazing considering how much I love fashion and shopping! So, here is everything I’ve bought so far.
Starting with tops, I picked up a few jumpers – this cream cotton jumper from Mango, because I love my cream jumper from last year, which I’m wearing in these photos and wanted to get another one in a similar colour and shape; a camel fine knit jumper from Zara (this comes in 8 other colours) and a black cashmere roll neck from AllSaints. I also bought a new basic white t-shirt from & Other Stories, made of 100% organic cotton and only £17! In terms of bottoms, I really wanted to get a pair of black ripped skinny jeans for this season and as you probably know shopping for jeans is always a pain. After a few days of unsuccessful jean shopping, I ended up buying the Topshop Leigh jeans. This is my first ever pair of Topshop jeans and I have to say I’m quite pleased with them so far. The fit is good, the fabric is very soft and comfortable and the price is reasonable. The two items that I’m most excited about are my two new leather skirts – I know you might be thinking that buying two at the same time is a bit excessive, but they are very different! The first one is a classic black mini skirt from Reiss and the other one is the AllSaints snakeskin skirt that I’m wearing here and that you might have seen in my Top Fashion Trends of Autumn/Winter post. The last item is also from AllSaints and also something I’ve been wanting to buy for a long time – a grey wool blazer. It’s the perfect slightly oversized fit and looks amazing paired with the Topshop jeans and the & Other Stories white t-shirt. Stay tuned for an OOTD featuring this blazer!
